Hi Ocs Support team,

We have implemented SSL authentication based on Using SSL certificates in Package deployment  and have installed server certificate file cacert.pem on each client computer into OCS Inventory Agent installation directory.Authentication works  and able to deploy the package into client computers.

The query is we would like to install separate certificate file for each client computer (Linux) , reason is not to use the same pem file for all client computers  in order to be more secure)and do the ssl authentication against Inventory Server certificate ( crt file)
Please do let us know if this possible in OCS NG Inventory ?

Hi,

All the lists are empty when I click on the number : "No data available in table". So i'm unable to known on which clients the package deployment are successfull or not.

I can see this line in Apache error log each time I try :

Plugins are not showing up for installation.

I downloaded several plugins through the address https://plugins.ocsinventory-ng.org by saving directly to the directory "/usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/download", as I read in a documentation.

Even by doing the download process in the correct location, the plugins do not appear for installation.

Can someone help me?

hy, with multcriteria search i want to search for a administrative data checkbox - but i can only search for

equal, more than, lesse than, like, different, is null - but i don't know which value i should enter into the search field afterwards.

In old versions (2.1.2( i have the function "having"and then i can choose the checkbox field.

Any help ?

with the new windows agent version 2.4.0.0 the ipaddress field is written incorrectly.
The ipaddress is preceded by the minus sign "-"
Rightly so ?

Hello there!

I'm an old user of OCS since around 2010.

Today i'm using it with all my devices : WindowsPC, Phones, Tablets
but now i have some chromebooks like ( cloudready neverware).

Is it possible to publish OCS agent on the chrome web store?
Is chromebook agent present on your roadmap?

Hello,

A colleague is trying to register on this forum without success. The website keeps on reporting "Please complete the anti-spam verification"

So I thought I would also try registering using a different email address. I reached "Anti-spam verification: What is the main function of OCS Inventory NG?". I answered as "Assets Management". Then again I got "Please complete the anti-spam verification". Again I typed in my answer and clicked the Register button. But again I am getting "Please complete the anti-spam verification" notification. It goes on and on. Never ending. 

Are we supposed to type in a long paragraph as an answer? I don't recall having this issue when I first registered my username. 

How can I proceed please?

i can activate packages and deploy them with no errors, the Agent downloade them and try to Execute them, but then nothing happens.

Has anyone a Solution for this Problem? I tried it with different Commands, Files (.exe/.bat/.ini) and still staying at that point with nothing more. He shows me no Errors, too, so that i dont know what the Problem is.

I installed a new server in version 2.5, everything works except the links in the management interface
for example, the link indicating the number of machines that have not rolled up inventory since 5 days returns nothing

Hello guys,

I need some help, i don't find any solution in the web.

I have a GLPI server in is 9.3.3 with the plugin "OCS Inventory NG" is in 1.5.6.

We try to connect to the database of my server OCS Inventory is in 2.5.

But we have the error "Configuration OCSNG invalid (Trace_deleted must be activated)".

The option is correctly enable on my OCS server.The OCS server configuration :

    Version de PHP :  5.5.21
    Serveur Web : Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/5.5.21 mod_perl/2.0.10 Perl/v5.16.3

I need your help. Have deleted the user ocs @ host of the MySQL database, created a new user and the configuration adjusted accordingly, but the error message remains.

Bonjour je n'ai pas de remontée snmp venant de mon poste agent windows, la remontée de l'inventaire ce fait bien (en https, donc ssl activé), le certificat a l'air valide, l'IPDiscover trouve bien les adresses de mon réseau mais impossible de les identifier, je ne sais pas comment faire, si vous pouvez bien m'aider..

Hi,

I'm trying to push a package to a client but it stays stuck on Waiting Notification.

Here is what appears on the httpd error log:
