automate the deletion of old inventories

Hello, I'm using version 2.5 of OCS on a server with CentOS 7, we need to enable the INVENTORY_VALIDITY option so that old inventories are automatically deleted, but this option is grayed out and can not be enabled. How do I enable or if there is another option that I can automate the deletion of old inventories tell me how I should do it. Thank you.
